Pool Opening
Debris will be removed from Pool Cover, Deck and Equipment Area. Cover will be removed, folded and stored per Customer. Pool Plugs and Skimmer expansion devices will be removed and stored in Cover Bag. Pool Equipment restarted and inspected for proper operation. Customer will be advised if any repairs are needed. Pool will be Netted, Brushed and Tile Band cleaned. Water Chemistry will be Tested and Adjusted. Salt and Stabilizer are not included and are billed separately.
Services included with Opening
Heater will be reassembled and tested for proper operation. Heater will not be left on. All Pool Handrails and Ladders will be reinstalled. Pool Sweep installed and tested for proper operation.
Follow Up Visit
Customers with Maintenance Service through the summer receive a Free Follow Up Visit.
Customers who don’t have Maintenance through the summer and would like a Follow Up Visit the Cost is $130 + Chemicals + Filter Cleaning if necessary.
Follow Up Visit includes
Pool Deck and Equipment Areas cleared of debris, Water Surface Skimmed of debris, Baskets emptied, Pool Vacuumed, Brushed, Equipment inspected, Water Chemistry Tested and Adjusted. Filter cleaned if necessary. Cartridge Filter Cleaning is not included in the Follow Up Visit and is billed separately.

Billing
Service Billing: All Monthly Pool-Spa Services are billed at the beginning of each month for that month. Additional visits made the prior month along with those chemicals & minor repair parts used during that prior month’s scheduled visit will be billed at the beginning month billing cycle. All invoices carry Net 15 day terms. We accept cash, check & all major credit cards.
Service Charge: A fee of $129 will be charged for a service call and a diagnosis of the issue. An additional fee of $90 per hour will be charged to repair the problem. The issue will be discussed with the homeowner prior to the repair work being done.
Pre-Pay Cash Seasonal Discount
You can take an additional 5% discount should you choose to pre-pay the 2024 season pool-spa services & your pool opening now by either check or cash. No credit card: this is a prepaid, cash only offer! You simply pre-pay for 4 months of the pool-spa service of your choice & your pool-spa opening at time of agreement to be eligible. Agreement & Payment Must be Received no Later Than 4/30/25. If service is to begin during the month of April, then prepayment must be received 30 days prior to the first date of service. A customer prepaying their 2024 pool & spa service agreement will not earn that discount on any repair services that maybe required during the pool season. Referral Credit
You can earn a $50.00 credit to your monthly statement by simply referring Sunshine Poolservice LLC to a new neighbor or friend within our service area and that referral signs a new service agreement with Sunshine Poolservice LLC for the 2025 pool-spa season.
Cancellation
This agreement can be cancelled by the customer with written notice by way of U.S. Mail to P.O. Box 1359, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 or by E-mail to sunshinepoolbk@gmail.com within 1 week of the next regularly scheduled visit. This agreement requires a valid customer credit card to be on file for these monthly charges. Sunshine Poolservice LLC will refund with no penalty any customer monies prepaid for service not yet completed during the agreement period if cancelled in writing as noted above.
